★ Overall Beermountain Rating

🏁 Team Langoustine: Tertre Rouge Private Site

  • Category: Private / Premium Managed Camping
  • Location: Inside the circuit at Tertre Rouge
  • Vibe: Fun, safe, and sociable
  • Best For: First-timers and loyal regulars
👍 At a glance:
  • Why: A great site for a full ticket and camping package
  • Best for: Fans who want a premium, fully managed experience right at the circuit
  • Avoid if: You're on a tight budget or want an independent camping experience
  • Vibe: Fun, safe, relaxed and sociable,  Le Mans package with the stress removed
  • Distance to village: 10+ min walk to the Pit Village
  • Noise level: Close to the track and a lively bar, but well managed
  • Likelihood to sell out: Very high — over 75% repeat customers, books out fast
  • Ideal for: First-timers wanting a guided experience, and loyal regulars who keep coming back
⚠️ The reality (read this first)
  • This is a private, fully managed site — not a DIY ACO campsite
  • You get a bar, catering, marquees, TV screens and hot showers — but you pay for the privilege
  • Location is outstanding, right on the inside of Tertre Rouge with circuit views
  • Walk to the Pit Village is 10+ minutes, plan around this
  • Also runs for Le Mans Classic
  • 👉 If you want comfort, security and a ready-made community, this is your site
  • 👉 If you want to rough it on a budget, look at the ACO sites instead

🧠 Camper profile
Typical crowd:
  • Majority British with some international guests
  • Over 75% are returning customers — a very loyal crowd
  • Fans who value comfort and convenience alongside the racing
  • Groups, couples and motorsport enthusiasts of all ages
Not really:
  • Budget campers or those wanting total independence
  • Large groups wanting to set up their own private setup
👉 Think: Le Mans done properly, with people who love it as much as you do

📍 Location & Landmark Access

📍 Tertre Rouge Corner (Inside Circuit)
You are sleeping right next to one of the most iconic corners in motorsport. The site offers direct banking views and visibility of the large screen opposite the track.

📍 Mulsanne Corner (Virage de Mulsanne)

This is a "must-visit" for night sessions. Do not try to walk from Team Langoustine (it's ~5 miles!).

  • Getting There: Take the Line 5 (Red) Shuttle Bus from Antares Tram stop.
  • Best Time: 2:00 AM to see glowing brake discs in full effect.

👍 Pros

  • Outstanding trackside location at Tertre Rouge
  • Fully managed: bar, catering, and hot showers on-site
  • Top-tier catering (not your average trackside burger!) with a team happy to accommodate dietary requests.
  • Highly secure with over 30 years of experience
  • Rare private site that also runs for Le Mans Classic

👎 Cons

  • Premium price point compared to ACO sites
  • Extremely high repeat booking (75%+) makes availability tough
  • 10+ minute walk to the Pit Village hub

💡 Top Tips for Team Langoustine

  • Book early — with 75%+ repeat customers, places go fast. Don't leave it until the last minute.
  • Make the most of the bar and marquee — race coverage on the big screen when your legs give out is priceless.
  • Spend time on the Tertre Rouge banking — one of the great Le Mans spectating spots and it's right outside your tent.
  • Le Mans Classic — if you're going to the Classic, this is one of the few private sites that covers both events.
  • Visit the Team Langoustine website for booking and the latest information.

🏆 Beermountain Special Award

Right on the banking on the inside of the famous Tertre Rouge corner, with a direct view of the large screen on the opposite side of the track. One of the most coveted spots at Le Mans — and one of the very few private sites that also runs for the Le Mans Classic.

Review from Luke ★★★★★
"An absolute standout for the Le Mans Classic. The location is unbeatable—you are so close to the track and the heart of the activities that you never feel like you're missing a moment of the action.

The food is on another level. As a vegetarian, I was really impressed with the quality and variety of the vegetarian meals—properly thought out and delicious. In fact, it was one of the best curries I have had anywhere. The fact that the team actually bring their own Tandoor oven to the track to make fresh naan bread is just amazing!

After being scorched dry in the July sunshine of 2025, having the freedom to retreat into the shade of the marquee to catch up on the TV coverage of the different plateaux—all while enjoying a proper cold pint—was a fabulous option. The staff are incredibly friendly and run a tight ship. If you want the Classic done right, this is the place."

Great place to stay. Unreal car collection just in the camp! Showers and toilets are great, so is the food!

Review ★★★★★
Great team, great campsite providing an authentic Le Mans experience whilst providing the comforts that are so lacking at the circuit. Feels like home.

If you've ever thought about going to Le Mans for the 24hrs, do it and go with these guys. Top quality site inside the circuit, warm showers, clean loos and their own bar and food. The only health warning is that you'll want to go back every year.

We went last year and it was a blast. The sites are great and the people are fantastic.
