The Beermountain community likes to do more than just camp in a field, watch some racing and drink cold beer in France once a year. After all, whilst we have so much fun it's the least we can do for those who need our help and support. We support Mission Motorsport, the forces motorsport charity.

Our members have come up with an incredible range of fun ways to extract a few pounds from their fellow “Beermountaineers” over the years. We love giving something back and having some fun – in a very Beermountain way of course!

24 Hours of Spa 2017

On the 21st and 22nd October 2017 'The Beermountain Citroen C1' competed in the 24 Hours of Spa. In a hotly contested field of 42 cars, the Beermountain car prepared and driven by Mission Motorsport completed the endurance race in a very creditable 26th place.

The car sustained serious engine damage and will therefore sadly not start the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey on 9th - 12th November 2017.

Who are Mission Motorsport?

Mission Motorsport were established to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport. The charity is run by veterans, serving officers and motorsport professionals. They are appointed as the Combined Services’ official providers of adaptive motorsport, seeking wherever possible to merge the activities of the disabled and those in need with able-bodied servicemen and women.

The Beermountain Mission

Mission Motorsport build race prepared cars and need comprehensive tool kits to support each car. With this in mind in 2014 we raised enough money to provide tools to keep their cars in tip top condition. We called it a “Tool Mountain”. In 2015 we managed to raise over £5000, our best result so far. We are now well on the way to buying Mission Motorsport a new race car. Please help us!

We have since set a goal of raising sufficient money to enable Mission Motorsport to purchase a new race car, something that we hope to achieve over the next three years. Having a goal to aim for will undoubtedly put extra lead in our pencil as we raise money for such a good cause.

Your Support

We welcome help and support from our members, from teams taking part in the race and their sponsors. We have been lucky to have some amazing prizes to auction and raffle – but we need your help! If we have approached you and you are reading this page, please help us – 100% of anything we raise goes to our chosen charity. Our auctions have raised significant amounts of cash through donations such as track days, pit visits, and high value or “money can’t buy” items such as watches and signed artwork.

If you can help us in any way please email us - charity@beermountain.com
