Apologies - not so many photos this year as Toad was directing a new movie, due for release in mid 2009..in the meantime, some BM memories from a cold and damp 2008...we must be due a scorcher in 2009?!

"The Wild Choppers"

With a year off from formal engagements, the Wild Choppers just engaged in local bombing missions! Some last minute changes were made and we flew with two new pilots in the synchro pair - scary stuff, and no surprise, the smoke plan went badly wrong on the the MB strip display..(again).

BM meet at Jannine's Bar

The BM meet at Jannine's gets busier and more fun every year. This year we had a relaxed few hours amongst BM friends from around the world - the military dress code for headgear resulting in some great outfits! Toad took the chance to award a few coveted BM Life Member awards as well as long service awards (10 years) to Buzz and Disco.

 Life on Stalag Maison Blanche

Maison Blanche was decimated by work to make it into a part time race track - not too many sensible flat places on offer, and numbered spaces for the first time.. the security people were as always a complete farce, but prisoner of war camp spirit meant that no one was going to spoil our fun!! Highlights included a never ending game of "Escape from Colditz" and some serious Beermountaineering.

The Race!

The views from the campsite were limited, but the battle between Audi and Peugeot was intense, whilst the GT2 Gulf Astons looked a million dollars.
