1997 Gallery
| 1997 was the year we moved up a gear and decided camping was no fun
without an "A" class motorhome! Houx Annexe had been enlarged after a
cramped 1996, and the weather was great. Brett set a new
record in his BMW from Caen to Le Mans (although those in the back didn't agree). Meanwhile, Toad put the TVR to good use
down Mulsanne,
whilst Jazzy got hold of a copy of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and
retreated to his tent. We camped opposite "the Columbians", who we
still see to this day! The race was won by Alboreto, Johanson & Kristensen
in a Porsche WSC95. |
