1995 Gallery
| 1995 was the year we ended up with an enormous team (19). The weather
was mixed, but the racing was good. We brought along our own marquee for use on Houx
Annexe, and even made a movie of our exploits. Our downfall, however, was
retreating to the champagne tent for the wet portion of the race! The race proved to be the defining moment for the McLaren F1 GTR, with a win for
Dalmas, Lehto & Sekiya. This was our first year with a team brand - shirts,
banners, paddock passes. We also brought down an old fridge powered by a
generator - something which became hugely popular on Houx Annexe in
later hot years. Roland also introduced us to the "wet girls" - and the
rest was history - we never travelled without a paddling pool again! |
