Situated on the infield road towards Arnage past Camping Houx.
Increasingly popular, drawing a mixed European crowd this site is a good
compromise if you think Houx is too far a walk from your tent when you want to
see the track. Everything is within 15 minutes walk, and the track can be seen from
the campsite.
2008 Update There are
no changes to karting Nord this year - it will not have any numbered
spaces and size & facilities remain the same.
- Pros: Great for watching the go karting (crashes!), good
viewing of track action, & good toilets
- Cons: Noise from the track for those that like to sleep,
noise from the stage if they have a live act performing
- Typical camper: Very broad European mix on
this site, lots of scaffold, lots of beer! In the last couple of
years a large contingent of Danish fans stay here - travelling on a
package tour by coach
